2. Well, I have a problem. |
|
My husband's Medi-gap insurance is from AARP and I can't continue it without AARP membership. I don't dare try to get another insurance because of the pre-existing condition thing. I guess I am stuck but I will be voicing my disgust in many letters to them until they change their tune. When DH dies and he's working on it, then I will dump them.

5. I have my auto through them |

But I will happily spend a few more bucks a year to dump AARP. They are nothing more than an insurance company now, anyway. They are not in the business of representing the membership, they are in the business of business. Their HMO will make out from this bill, while the members will lose. We need to get the media on this revolt and that is what it is. The membership is hot.....I called yesterday and got my complaint in ahead of todays rush. Friend has been trying to get to the state chapter on the phone and it keeps ringing busy. Either they have it off the hook or it really is that busy.

7. My wife is over 50, and, thus, I can be a member. |

We haven't upped our membership, and now I don't think we should.
