Bush and the GOP don't walk the walk on domestic programs.

Bush and his pubbie Congress are about to pass some domestic bills. So what? The Republicans don't follow through on domestic laws they already passed. Look at "No Child Left Behind." Look at the AIDS funding for Africa. And environmental laws? Bush doesn't enforce environmental laws at all.

So here's what Dems should say to the voters.

Dump Bush and the GOP if you want to see these new domestic programs and laws funded, enforced, and strengthened. The Dems can be trusted on domestic issues; the Republicans can't be.

Republicans? They scribble laws on paper and give good lip service to domestic programs, but when it comes time to walk the walk, nothing. Elect Republicans, and they'll just delay implementation, underfund, sue-and-settle... all those nice little tricks they love to use.

Domestic laws written by Republicans aren't worth the paper they are written on. We're onto the Republicans.
