For some reason that made me chuckle.

6. He was on Hannity tonite and made me want to puke. |
|
First he quipped about coming after Scott Peterson and Michael Jackson. Then he moralized Bush's trip to england by commenting on taped footage of Clinton going to India in 2000.

Whatever his faults may be, Brown is marvelously dry.

5. I think Aaron Brown wants out of his CNN contract |
|
He has been making many comments like this lately. It doesn't help CNN become more like FOX though.

Would anyone happen to remember any of these comments he's made? Brown seems to be the most fair-minded individual on Fox. If he leaves CNN, I wonder, who else would take him in?

Talk about an acquired taste...I used to hate Brown and his dry way, but as those in Seattle can tell you, he really does grow on you. He has on me and I hate to miss the show or see that he's not on and somebody is filling in. It's not the same show without him. There was a time when I would have choked before saying that, but I really like the guy now.

You don't enjoy Blitzer's inflectionless bellowing? His insightful questions? The "Property of Dick Cheney" tattoo on his ass?
Brown is a throwback to the Brinkley/Cronkite era of newsmen who were smart and droll and didn't kiss ass or curry favor. So, of course, CNN is ready to toss him on his ear in favor more of Paula Zahn's increasingly vomitous hausfrau routine.

14. I think it's survival. |

I wouldn't be surprised if they showed some bias against Bush* for the next year. With the way he messes around with the press, they're probably plenty hot. I could see them going after him and the rest of this establishment as much as they could for the survival of journalism in this country.
