American Presidential Candidate Selector....How do you score?
Take the test find out which candidate most closely matches your political views.

My results don't surprise me, however, at this time I am leaning more toward Clark since I feel he would have the best chance to beat bush. That being said, I will strongly surport whoever wins the nomination.

1. Hmm...I usually test closer to Kucinich than Dean on this...
Maybe I'm in a mood today or something. (I'm a Dean supporter, so, hey.)
It's hard to believe I'm closer to Lieberman than CMB. Oh well.

7. Similar
I wasn't surprised that I polled close to Kucinich, but the first time I took this, back before Clark declared I had Clark as my top match. Dean was higher than before - I thought I would more closely align with Kerry and must be cranky this morning - am usually closer to Al:

1. Your ideal theoretical candidate. (100%)
2. Kucinich, Rep. Dennis, OH - Democrat (80%)
3. Dean, Gov. Howard, VT - Democrat (75%)
4. Edwards, Senator John, NC - Democrat (64%)
5. Gephardt, Rep. Dick, MO - Democrat (55%)
6. Clark, Retired General Wesley K., AR - Democrat (54%)
7. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (46%)
8. Sharpton, Reverend Al - Democrat (44%)
9. LaRouche, Lyndon H. Jr. - Democrat (35%)
10. Lieberman, Senator Joe, CT - Democrat (33%)
11. Libertarian Candidate (29%)
12. Moseley-Braun, Former Senator Carol, IL - Democrat (21%)
13. Phillips, Howard - Constitution (7%)
14. Bush, President George W. - Republican (0%) Click here for info

I hate to say it, but who the hell is Howard Phillips? Not that my score would indicate I need to pay attention to him, but I should have heard of him, I'd think.

5. CMB
any ideas why Carol Moseley Braun is coming in so low on all of our lists? I don't have a particularly strong opinion of her either way, but she's even below Bush on some of your lists, and she's below the libertarian candidate on mine.

Here's my result, by the way

But you know I wonder how they calculated all this. I mean, why would I score so low with someone like Carol Moseley-Braun, who I agree with on many issues. Is electable viability factored in?

Also I see I ranked higher with Kucinich than some of his supporters probably. Actually I see myself agreeing more with Moseley-Braun than Kucinich on many issues.

10. Ah Hell No!
Ain't no way I agree with Bush on 12% of issues. Either he's lying, or this thing is bogus!

Not too bad, though, for the top six candidates. I'd rank Kerry above Edwards, and Sharpton higher, and nuke LaRouche altogether. But that's about my order of agreement. Not necessarily who I trust, though.

16. It's a fun game
But needing to use a prefab mystery box to find out who you agree with is like having to watch Fox News to find out what news is mportant. You are giving up control to someone elses editing and interpretation, well meaning as it might be in this case.

21. Give me Dean and/or Clark in 2004 and we shall win!
My results were fairly good. The only combo that I think can win in 2004 is a Dean/Clark or Clark/Dean combo. Both men need each other to offset their weaknesses while enhancing their positives. I just hope this symbiotic ticket turns out to be the case, as our nation is in big trouble. My concern? How can we can somehow force audit trail capability from the Diebold machines?...if we can then we might stand a good chance of restoring our nation with a Dean/Clark combo...
