Special Agent Watson just called asking questions. This guy wasn't playing. He wanted to know who said what and when. Maybe Mark Byron will realize it's not funny to threaten elected officials.

Some friends and I played a practical joke on someone using a fake letterhead. The person on the receiving end was not happy. He also happened to have a son in the Secret Service.

You do not know pressure until you are on the receiving end from a Secret Service agent discussing your role in potential mail fraud. Especially when you are a third-year law student applying for work.

He gave a religious opinion to a group of terrorists that it would be okay to kill Americans, and they bombed the WTC in 93. This guy's a religious nut, a conservative nut, and a professor. People listen to him. Shouldn't they pre-emptively put him in jail for life for leading a terrorist assault on our government?

BTW, hello, Special Agent Watson. Not trying to influence your decisions or anything, but couldn't you arrest Bush for us? I mean, he's more out of control than this other guy, and he's killed more people, and he's made terroristic threats towards just about every non-white guy in the world. It would help us out. We have gotten tons of press here the last couple months. We have been mentioned on Limbaughs show, the WSJ OpEd page, BuzzFlash, WMR, and some of the "liberal" talk shows. DU is respected by the Clark and Dean camps as a good place to hang out. The reason DU has grown is that many of us promote DU positively in our campaigns.

The Draft find that another poster found was huge. It was a DU exclusive. We also changed Bill Frists debate last week. So we are still somewhat underground, but as someone else said... We are a 30K plus strong liberal/progressive "think tank." We get shit done.
