On Fox Facts they just flashed all the security measures installed into the automobile that is escorting Georgie around London. It has a 5 inch titanium body and can sustain a direct hit from a grenade rocket launcher. (Okay, maybe I'm elaborating, but not by much.)

It really is unbelievable. Don't you think that when you have to shield yourself with so much armour that a reasonable person would conclude that the goodwill purpose of the trip has failed?

By the way, hope Prince Charles didn't see this:

7. Bob Boudelang
carries around his "Our Great Little Toy President" action figure....(It is not a dolly, so stop saying that), which unfortunately has a Barbie head glued on it these days because his landlady's dog chewed off the other one.

11. Links please?
I'd like to see if Clinton also took the limo with him on his goodwill tours to other countries.

Armoured cars: Essential kit for presidents

Armoured cars are now considered almost essential for all high-profile figures in dangerous parts of the world. But President George W Bush's vehicle is thought to be the most advanced ever.

Has your car passed the latest crash-test standards? Maybe so. But if you are the leader of the free world, then you'll be looking for a little bit more than passenger air bags.

The most important element of President George W Bush's London "security bubble" his car - one very heavily armoured and limited edition presidential Cadillac deVille.

more

1. Night-vision capability, should lights fail
2. Armour on the doors makes them so heavy, they often have an automatic opening system
3. The whole car is equipped with five inch thick armour plate
4. The fuel tank is designed to resist heat to prevent explosions for as long as possible
5. Anti-shred tyres able to run even with punctures or bullet holes

6. Presidential Limo
The new presidential limo, which I think is one of the ugliest cars on the planet was delivered during the Clinton admin.

10. Can the boys in Iraq get a few of these?
Seriously - the Chimp gets a car that can stop an RPG, but the soldiers can't? Didn't he say he cares about the troops? Apparently not enough to let them drive his car.
