Conservative third party wants to run against Bush
Some nutjob wants to harness the anti-GOP anger in the South to run as a third party. He could easily steal Bush votes and help the Democrat to win a few states.

His reasons:

3. my thoughts exactly
Any votes for this guy is a vote away from Bush. Believe it or not, many conservatives absolutely loathe the Republican Party. They just vote GOP because they hate the Dems more.

9. Conservative
This Kennedy guy is too fringe to get much play or steal many votes from Bush.

But, for what it's worth, Bush isn't a real conservative. He's a fraud: a big-government neo-conservative masquerading as a traditional conservative. I know many conservatives who loathe Bush as much as liberals do. So there is a potential constituency for a conservative third-party candidate.

But it won't be this Kennedy. :)

2. Racist, Confederate site - too marginal
Need Judge Roy Moore to run to really steal votes. This is too far out to have an impact (much as it reflects too much of the Mainstream GOP).

4. Wow. A slavery revisionist.
Well, I will usually sign a ballot petition for prit-near anybody -- libertarian, prolife, prochoice, elf, vegan, communist, bring 'em on. But I draw a line at NAZIs and unreconstructed confederates.

(Born in Bossier City, La and raised on a farm outside Blanchard, La, folks.)

8. Party Time!
All the candidate needs is some publicity and the Democrats will win a couple of swing states. I've been waiting for this.

10. Bring 'em on
Chimpy will take on all comers -- especially if they can drain away a few more of those ugly "nutcase hater" votes. They are like soooo embarassing.

12. anti-Bush Republicans
I have a VERY conservative friend who hates Bush, and he said he knows several Republicans, including himself, who are voting Constitution Party. I hope the trends continue! They want to change the direction of the Republican party back to true conservativism and away from neoconservativism. They say the only way to do it is to make sure the neocons lose elections, so the party will have to realign.
