I'm curious about Clark and Kucinich Meet-ups....
Edited on Wed Nov-19-03 07:11 PM by khephra
What goes on at a Dean Meetup is pretty well publicized, but I don't know a thing about Clark or Kuchinich Meetups. Any of the Clark or Kucinich supporters want to fill me in on what a typical one is like?

(Even though he just scored strike two with me (see BN), Clark is still my tied second pick. I can't choose between Kucinich and Clark for second choice.)

4. Maybe I should add
That I dropped out of Dean campaigning because of my Truthout workload....so don't think I'm asking to steal ideas or anything. This is pure intellectual curiosity.

5. We talk
about what we are doing on a local level. Plan events, letter writing, etc. Eat, drink.

Probably not much different from any other Meet Ups.

6. Argue with Dean proselytizers who sign up and
come to show us the error of our ways, hoping to put us on the path of Dean and righteousness. At least, we did at the last two. When we dispose of them, we talk about organizing, local events where we can show the Clark colors, and meet each other. We put the newbies through a complex initiation, the details of which I cannot divulge, but resemble the initiation rites of Skull and Bones, and other such secret societies bent on world domination. ;-)

7. Khephra
Kucinich should DEFINITELY be your second choice. He's a REAL Democrat, tried and true.

That I think he's moved into third place, based on his regulation comments the more I think about it.

10. Well locally...the last Kucinich one was canceled because less than 5...
people cared to vote for a venue.

That was probably due to a glitch though. Because I know of plenty more than 5 DK'ers just in my circle of friends alone.

More people always show up for the meetup than bother to vote for a location.

I'm sure most meetups are pretty much alike.
