Condemned
Dear America, recently it has become apparent that the Corporate/Military/Industrial Complex have complete and total control over most of the political machinery in your once proud and free country. It is also quite obvious that they have bought themselves a lap dog domestic Media and have a trillion dollar funded Black Ops force that is busily stirring up events to justify and extend the Terror War globally.

The US tax payer will be paying for this New American century. It is their hard earned dollars that will be the fuel for the War Machine. It is time for the average American to wake up from their fog of fear and desperate patriotism - to wake up to the fact that they are being psychologically manipulated to cheer on their unfortunate soldiers as they are used as tools of repression and cannon fodder.

It sickens me to my very core that a country that truly used to be a Democratic beacon for humanity has been infiltrated and infected by the very same neo-Fascist, militaristic political philosophy that once threatened the world a half century ago.

I have pleaded with you on this forum many times to take the gloves off and go after this Administration's OBVIOUS culpability in the terror attacks on 9-11. It dosesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that only a truly independent and thorough investigation into the unanswered questions surrounding 9-11 is the ONLY way that this current cabal of thieves, liars and murderers can be stopped.

Bush and his cronies use the specter of 9-11 as a moral justification for any and all of their policies. If they could no longer fall back on the tragedy as a crutch, perhaps then there would be a chance for you to take back your country. Of course, that also depends on if the Diebold/Black Box voting scam is exposed before the next "election".

Unfortunately, I have grown increasingly cynical as I've watched the Fascist Juggernaut that is the Bush Junta roll over America, her people and her Constitution. And now that the White House has made a deal with the 9-11 Commission to be able to "edit" any info they hand over, it only reinforces my cynicism.

So, America, I guess you all better get used to the idea of an endless global war on an abstract noun. You better get used to a one party government, a domestic police state, an economy dependent on the success of a Dickensian labor system, an ever growing rate of poverty and homelessness, the certain future deaths and maimings of your citizen soldiers and a complete crack down on civil liberties and the right to express dissent.

As the noted historian George Santayana so chillingly foretold, "Those that fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it."

America, heed the warning well. For, in the eyes of history, this period in time may well be looked back upon with condemnation.

1. Yeah, we know
why do you think we're here? And no, we don't need to get used to it. We need to get rid of it; throw it out on it's ass where it belongs. :hi:

2. 911
great inspiring passion. correct-o-mundo. only, the 9-11 investigation is a fraction of the corrupt pie. if it turned out that bushco. had little forward knowledge, there are a million other reasons to nuke this bunch of thieves.

3. Unfortunately, RB, not all our compatriots get the big picture.

Most of them aren't paying enough attention, and don't want to hear about it, either.

5. RB, you are so right. It also goes with
why the press is keeping Kerry and his campaign team down. I posted this a couple days ago.

>>>>>>>
What would Bush do to keep these men silenced?

John Kerry assembled a team to confront Bush on the issues Rove wants to take to the American people in 2004. National security and the fear of terrorism. No doubt, the last thing Rove needs are experts in those areas speaking out during the general election against Bush and for the Democratic opponent.

Gary Hart, knows more about national security and antiterrorism measures than any national figure. He is the author of the Hart-Rudman report which was delivered to Bush in Jan. 2001 after a 2 1/2 year study commissioned by Clinton. The report wasn't dealt with at all prior to 9-11.

Rand Beers, former National Security Official, knows the inner workings of the Bush team's post 9-11 efforts, of which he observed mostly inertia and incompetence.

Max Cleland, 9-11 commission, knows the Bush team is trying to pull a fast one on the American people by covering up crucial information of dealings that led to 9-11. Has been speaking out to groups across the country, and swinging the AWOLSTICK as a bonus.

Gen. William Perry, Clinton's expert on nuclear arms proliferation and N. Korea, knows Bush's failures on the serious Korea issue and his incompetence in dealing with its threat.

Joe Wilson, the man who knows TOO much. Exposed Cheney's office as the source for cooked intelligence reports on Iraq. Also alerted public to treasonous acts by White House in exposing his wife, an undercover CIA agent. Many in intel community aligning with Wilson and his wife against the WH.

The media is loathe to give these men the airtime at this point because they are too damaging to Bush on his perceived strengths. They can afford to ignore them and the substance of their case against Bush because they are selling the American people the "process" of the primary horserace as entertainment. If Kerry were the nominee, the media would have no choice but to feature his spokespeople on the various issues.

Kerry assembled a team to TAKE BUSH DOWN, while some others assembled a team to take Kerry down. Democrats need to take this into consideration. BushInc. NEEDS these men and their message muted.

6. BLM, if Kerry would stand with these folks at a "Press Conference" and
Edited on Wed Nov-19-03 08:51 PM by KoKo01
declare the feelings about Bush, that you and other Kerry supporters feel are his "True" feelings, then he would have my vote in a heartbeat.

He hasn't done that. Instead he has stammered about his "Iraq Vote" done photo ops on his BIG BAD Motorcycle and staged other photo ops equally as offensive to me.

He's not the candidate I thought he would be. And, he won't get my vote unless he takes a definite stand against Bush and his policies.

Sorry.

7. I can't believe you haven't read or heard his SUBSTANTIVE criticisms of
Bush. Try reading the clips and the press releases at his website. The media barely covers him on the issues, KoKo. That's the WHOLE point of RB's post and mine. SERIOUS issues are being waylaid while the media focuses on a horserace and pushing their storyline, the "Angry Democrat."
