If so, what are your thoughts? It's pretty angering, but his thesis is interesting. I'm ready to go search out the video of some of GW's speeches to watch his mannersims more closely.

(I'll never watch corporate TV news ever again! )

3. * only speaks fluidly when he talks about himself, cruelty, or . . .
. . . .rightwing policies. Not being a psychologist or anything, I think that kind of makes him a psychopath.

I'm nearly finished with the book myself, have found it most enlightening. And frightening. To think that we have this kind of monster in charge of our country. . . . .

THAT ought to invite a rise in the terror 'lert.

4. I just finished it last night
Does nothing to dispel the fact that Bush is an Idiot only delightfully adds to it.

5. I read it when it first came out.
Miller has one of the most cogent descriptions of the big picture of American politics since Nixon I've ever read. And he nails Bush to the fence.

That... is one scary book.

It's so much easier just to dismiss Bush as an idiot, isn't it?

7. "It's a budget. I mean, it has a lot of numbers..."
I got that book when it first came out, having never heard of Mark Crispin Miller. The title alone sold me on it.

Laughed the whole way through and it also made me sick. How often can you say that?
