Hopefully the organizers did not set expectations too high. It is, after all, a weekday and people need to go to work. My concern is that if there are "only", say 80,000, that will be spun as a sign of failure. Not to mention the proclivity of police and security goons to lowball the size of protest crowds (unless it's a crowd of Iraqis toppling a Saddam statue). Of course, if they do draw 100,000 or more, we can expect FOX News to remind us that these protestors represent an "overwhelming minority of the British people", as they put the Guardian poll up on the screen (the only recent poll of Brits to say what Team Bush wants to hear), all in the interest of being "fair and balanced".
