I'm already laying the groundwork for immigration to Canada next year, because I just can't fucking take it anymore. I've been fighting against repukes my whole life, and I remember the horrendous uphill battle when Raygun was president. reporter's camera was smashed by the police as they were filming the "rowdy" crowd. The CNN newsdesk person said it looked like the police were letting the crowd "vent" their prostest. One of my colleagues -- the horse's rump who is always trying to polarize people -- just stood outside my door and said loudly:

"I know this: George Bush is going to win reelection next year. And I'm happy because I love my country."

I just had to escape to DU and be amongst kindred spirits for a while.

But guess what? The guy is wrong!

On edit: Why is he wrong? Because Bush *is* alienating those who supported him during the last election. They've been hurt too much in the pocketbook. They're sick of his war. They don't think he can protect them anymore. He's becoming a joke to the most reasonable people who voted for him last time.
