I just dropped Ann Coulter an email, telling him/her how outraged I am that he has been overlooked by People magazine yet again, as they have not named him this year's Sexiest Man Alive. "How many years will People fail to see what we all see -- what a hunka man you are! It must be a particularly bitter pill to swallow, to have been beaten out this year by staunch liberal Johnny Depp! Oh, Ann -- they're blind, so blind. Johnny Depp's Adam's Apple can't hold a candle to yours!"

10. when ever i see freeper types mockling someone's appearance

it says to me that they are too stupid to take on the mockee's positions in an intellectual manner. they are incapable of matching the thought process and logic of the person and, feeling incompetent
and impotent to compete on that level, resort to the only tool they feel capable of wielding...

of course it reflects badly on the stupid freeps but they continue doing it. even though it actually pays a high compliment to their opponent by saying i can't knock down your arguements so i can only knock your appearance.

i always hoped Donna Shalala understood that. but being a very bright person, i'm sure she got it.

When Ann comes up with "all liberals are traitors" or "liberals are what's ruining this country" Or her defense of Joseph McCarthy as a hero...well, that's just mindless ranting. Pure lies based on her twisted viewpoint. It's difficult to offer rational counter arguments to that kind of crap.

you find it hard to refute these premises? well then i guess you're better off emailing her with insults.

you see, my problem is that liberalism means something to me...something more than being dem or anti bush. it's the code by which i live and it bugs me to see people wear the tag "liberal" but not act the part.

it's not about how insults make the opponent feel it's about how the insulter looks to the rest of the people. i have no way of stopping anyone from misreprenting themselves as a liberal but i can at least protest when i see behaviors that make the rest of us look badly.

making fun of someone based on their appearance does't fit into the liberal philosopy. i don't see how anyone can dispute that. it's a lame and lazy way to express disagreement.....impotent and feckless in most cases.

As the President of the DU Chapter of the International Johnny Depp Fan Club, I resent submitting A.C. for Sexiest Man Alive.

Johnny is finally getting the recognition he deserver after many years of breathtaking performances, and a sexuality and personality to swoon over without really trying.

Nominate Ann for Hatemonger of the Year or whatever. Just please don't mess this up for Johnny or us long-suffering fans of his. FYI - JD fans are up in arms that he didn't get the full cover, just a 1/2 of one, with the Bachelor. x(
