Right now the Busheep are way ahead, and this lie must not be perpetuated.

1. BUMP
There are two polls:

Who's to blame for violence?

Do you support FTAA?

4. But this has been the case with most demonstrations in the States.
Earlier this year, in Lawrence, Kansas, a group of kids wanted to demonstrate against the people attending the opening of the Dole center at the university of Kansas. The demonstration was effectively stopped by police beating up the protestors and arresting them. The letters on the paper the next day were all (at least the ones I saw) supportive of the police and against the protestors who were the recipients of some choice insults by the letter writers.

5. This is just getting too commonplace
This is IMO exactly why activists need to start connecting with people directly, instead of gathering together.

If those letter writers had a conversation with those kids about their concerns, how many do you think would have agreed, or at least not thought them to be deserving of insults?

Or maybe it's more like this.....

***Intercepted cell phone call***

Hey Jebbie, it's your brother George. These Limeys over here are being mean to me, and I don't want it to get in the press. You got something to distract em? I don't think the Michael Jackson thing is enough?
