"Shock and Awe" meets "Shock and Hee-Haw" |
|
Dear God, we are now at war with farmers launching attacks from donkey carts. Was there not one individual in the entire administration with the brains to realize that maybe, just maybe, there might be a few Iraqi citizens who objected to the occupation of their country? Referring to all of them as "terrorists" and "Baathist thugs" is nothing more than a futile attempt to apply a thin veneer of legitimacy to the operation. If the same events transpired in a country which this administration supported, the insurgents would be labeled "patriots" or "freedom fighters". My heart goes out to the GIs who are being sacrificed at the altar of PNAC and its neocon ambitions.

Notice how it just rolls off the tongue? And how it sums up this whole nasty aggression-for-profit in three syllables?
Pass it on!
