Support the Pres no matter what! - Get it in writing! |
|
Okay, next time some RW freeper/dittododo/wingnut a-hole screams at you that you must support the pResident in a time of war, no matter what, you're being anti-American, whatever excuse they use to try to save their monkeyboy's butt, ask them to sign onto a statement in the general form of:
I, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _, do solemnly swear, with my word before God, that if a non-Republican President is elected, I will support whatever military action they see fit to undertake within the duration of his term.
Witnessed by _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ on _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _
Must keep the "before God", because a lot of these RWer types would be the "under God" types, and that would have them swear to their God.
Also, this is sexist, but I cannot see a Republican ever expecting a woman (unless it's Elizabeth Dole, a Repuke) ever becoming President, so they would never sign to a statement that would have the concept of a woman as Non-Repub President.
You may add it if you wish.
I would love to see a lot of these signed, and as soon as one of these aholes starts quibbling about the Dem President getting into a military situation, BANG! Slap this back into their faces.

I also like to throw in their face that here is the oath that SOLDIERS make:
Enlistment Oath: I, ___________________________________, do solemly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed overme, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.
The Officer Oath is slightly different:
I (insert name), having been appointed a (insert rank) in the U.S. Army under the conditions indicated in this document, do accept such appointment and do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter, so help me God.
Note that the #1 priority in both is to support and defend the Constiution, not a GOP President.
