Find out how your Senator voted on the Energy Bill today
Edited on Fri Nov-21-03 01:56 PM by La_Serpiente
It hasn't been passed yet, but they still might pass it in the afternoon so keep on calling. Here is the recorded votes from this morning:

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=108&session=1&vote=00456

Thank goodness my two Hawaii Senators voted no. I thought they were going to vote yes for a little while there. But Harking voted for it, but he is from a farming state. Specter voted yes also.

6. Their votes were not needed, but you can bet they would have been there
if there votes were needed. A cloture vote requires 60 yes votes. Their votes would have been no, and made no difference to the cloture vote's failure!

10. I HAVE A QUESTION..This was the vote for Cloture only.....
so I believe that some of the Democratic Senators (think 11 voted yes) were attempting to force the floor vote before anymore 'deals' could be made by the Republican leadership to influence some of the waviering Repubs. After all, Frist voted 'No' so the thing couldn't be voted on this morning.

Now Bush & co. have more time to pressure the repubs to vote for it.
So, are the Dem senators who said, 'Aye' on the colture vote really 'bad' guys?
