How would you feel if you had to vote for Clark? Dean?
Using my imagination, here is how I would feel if I had
to vote for each of the Democratic Nominees:

Clark

Very proud to have an intelligent, articulate man of good
character represent us. I think he would make a fine President,
statesman, and role model. I would also be confident he could
beat Bush.

Kerry

Very proud to have a great Democrat with a good record going
to bat for us. I think he would make an excellent President
with many fine initiatives and proposals. I also like his
speaking style, kind of Kennedy-esque. The fact that he
rides, plays hockey, hunts, and plays guitar is kind of cool
which takes the edge off of him being a bit of an aristocrat.

Dean

Right now I am kinda sour on Dean. I think he could redeem
himself in my eyes if he layed off the charges against other
dems and apologized for making the statement that he is the
"only Dem Candidate who opposed the war". I am biased against
him because he is "the front runner" and offers the biggest
challenge to "my guy" -- an unfair bias I know but I am just
trying to be honest. I would certainly give him a second chance
in the GE.

Gephardt

I would be ok with it but I wouldn't be too excited. I would
just kind of say "well, he's the union's candidate...I hope
they can get him elected". I think he is a good Dem and I
think he has his heart in the right place on health care.
I guess he just seems to be such a "traditional" politician
that it's hard to imagine anything would change.

Edwards

For me, he has two strikes against him. 1) he is a trial lawyer
2) he has been less than exemplary when it comes to skewering
other dems. However, with that said, I think he is a good
looking guy, very articulate, with some great ideas. I also
think he has his heart in the right place and would do wonderful
things for he country. I would be excited to have a young
and charismatic guy going to bat for all of us.

Sharpton

This would be fun. He is no holds barred and he speaks like a
man with nothing to lose. He also brings the
sensibility to the Party that cuts through the bull. We see this
in the debates. It would be a wild and fun campaign to see him
bait and debate Bush.

Carol Moseley Braun

Boy, she is just so darn even-keeled. I have nothing against
her. I would love to see a woman get the nomination and challenge
Bush. I think she would have a better chance of winning than
Hillary, oddly enough.

Kucinich

I would love to hear him unfiltered and over a lengthy period
of time. I think my vision of the future and his most coincide.
I am a pacifist who would decriminalize drugs -- so is he.
I also am really ambivalent about abortion -- so is he. I am
strongly pro-choice from a legal standpoint and medical ethics
standpoint but I personally cringe at the thought of willfully
terminating a life. I imgagine he is somewhere along those lines
from what I have read about him. I also think he would push
a pro-alternative energy agenda as much or more than the rest ---
which is my hot-button issue.

Lieberman

I would feel really lousy about him being nominated. Regretfully,
I wouldn't care if we won or lost. I think if we won, we would
lose. I think he we lost, we would lose. Lieberman just turns
me off in so many ways...

2. Vote Dem whoever.
Sorry, I won't do four more years of Bush and
his Bandits. It's a Dem whoever the primary candidate
is.

9. Re: Vote Dem whoever
See, that's a near-universal opinion here, of course. The more interesting question is : Would you get out and work for the candidates you aren't supporting right now? If we're going to win this election, places like DU need to be a source of canvassers and rally-organizers and get-out-the-vote projects for whoever the candidate is. Who would you be willing to do that for? I, for instance, would have a tough time mustering up much enthusiasm for Senator Lieberman, although I'd probably bring myself to do at least some work for him anyway.

3. I'd feel great
Anybody but Bush.

OK ... if Hitler was running against Bush, I'd probably vote for Bush, but I'd still have to think about it.

4. if I confronted a ballot
with the name of any of the Democratic candidates and then Bush's name on it I would feel great happiness marking my ballot for the Democrat and saying, "Good bye, Chimp--back to the Crawford Zoo for you."

8. Then you
support and believe in Kucinich, but don't believe he can win, so you won't vote for him and try to change that: you are the worst kind of Kucinich supporter there is. Most of you fall into that category, love him, but think he can't win, wanna pick the winner, so you vote for liar one or liar two. Think about it, and then join us at http://www.kucinich.us and we really can make a difference. Voting isn't enough, our democracy needs more right now.

10. Good Question...
Clark
Well I love Clark. I would be so proud to have him as my president. I think he is the most presidental in the bunch and would beat the livin day lights out of bush if he wins the nomination.

Lieberman
Phuleez. Can't stand the guy. I don't think he'd play an even hand in the Israel/Palestinian conflict. I don't think our country should pander to Israel. I think we ought to really demand that they treat the Palestinians fairly. And if they refuse, punish them for it. Nor do I believe we should vote for UN sanctions against Palistine and not Isreal.

Kucinich
I took the selection test and actually Kucinich ended up my best mapped candidate and it helps that hes single, I'd date him. I'd have no problems voting for Kucinich. I don't think however, he'll win the nomination.

Sharpton
I like him better than I did before. What he says makes sense to me. I will say though that my Gay friends have told me that he has made anti-gay comments in the past. So, I find his stance on gay marriage a little confusing. I'd like to see him as WH press Secretary or an Ambassador. Excitement

Braun
I don't know. I'm just not feelin it. I should but I don't. No excitement.

Gephardt
I'm not feelin it. No excitement The DUer that said he is the democratic Bob Dole you hit it right on the head.

Kerry
Cool, but to me strange. I'm not feelin it. He'd be great to hang with but I'm not sure. No excitement.

Edwards
I used to like him. I thought he'd make a great VeeP for Clark. Hiring Shelton though really pissed me off. I he's too sneaky and greasy. I don't want him to be my President.

Dean
I've been a Clarkie from the start. I wanted Dean to be Clarks VeeP. I started to sour on Dean mainly because of alot of the things I saw here. I'm giving Dean a second look as Clark's VeeP. I think he has alot of great qualities that compliment Clark. He is actually slightly to the Right of Clark on the issues (based on a site posted here Thursday). Hopefully Dean won't change and move more center if he wins the nomination. I'll be more concerned about his base and credibility if he does change.
