Mom and I always agreed on Politics - She likes W.Clark too!
I hadn't talked to the folks at all about politics in at least 6 months. Neither of us had heard of Gen. Wesley Clark at that time. Anyways I had recently e-mailed some of my family with some information about Clarks campaign for President...no response...I figured being in So Cal, what with Ahnold and all, they were too weary to talk about politics. I called but missed them a couple of times.

Then a couple weeks later I get this response from Mom:
It is me mom, yes all of these thoughts about Bush go through my mind. He
is more like a dictator than anyone yet and his team makes it really scary.
From before General Clark officially was on the scene, I told dad, that if
he ran, I thought I would have to vote for him. I think it is great you are
so enthused. I support you whole heartedly.

We both picked him independently...guess she raised me right.

1. My mom said she'll vote for him because he's a Catholic.
She'd likely for for Dean as a second choice. This after voting for * in Florida. I'm trying to do a better job of raising mom after her big mistake.

2. Like Mother, Like Son!
:7 I know, I know..it's "Like Father, Like Son"...

That's really awesome that you and your mom both like Clark having not known each other did. :bounce::bounce:

Clark has a wide appeal, across generations. He's an awesome man. My son still likes Dean, but he's only 10 so I don't really care...he can't vote! :7
