with all the conservative think-tanks in washington working overtime to keep ahead of liberal actions, why wouldn't they keep a close eye on du, moveon, buzzflash, counterpunch, et.al? We would be better armed if we could see the minutes from the meeting from the carlyle group(and hundreds of other right wing tanks). Since there are no parallels, no real liberal think tanks, i bet they watch us closely. this troubles me greatly. they have an advantage. not that we are highly organized, but some of this is powerful and could be useful to the enemy. any ideas how we can be more private so as to not allert those fuckers?

In fact, having a website and running for public office may actually be good protection from the bastards. If you're unknown and have no connections, who's going to miss you if they take you away?

Someone HAS to go public, to set an example and to push the envelope. The cowardice out there is simply overwhelming.

On the other hand, there's also an obvious need for some secrecy - and disinformation. If you have a website or a lot of anti-Bush information on your website, get two external hard drives - one of which you can store at a friend's place, in case the feds confiscate your computer.
