I don't think Clinton ignored the Iraqi threat. I don't think western powers or Arab states ignored Iraqi threat.

There were sanctions in place. There were active efforts to intercept any purchaes of fissile material. There was active reconnaisance of Iraqi abilities. There were all kinds of efforts taking place BEFORE Bush and company started hyping Iraq.

Then...when they did...they got UN inspectors involved and invasive on the ground inspections were taking place.

WTF is this all about? It is about them reframing the debate.

Not gonna happen. Don't let it happen. They could have managed Iraqi threat without troops just like they say they can do with N. Korea.
