2. Kerry's points--giveaway to drug companies, disingenuous discount card

which doesn't take effect until 2006! A real medicare drug benefit could be put into Medicaid in six months which would allow for volumn discounts like the state of Maine. Maine's program was upheld by the Supreme Court.

This bill is more about shifting costs to taxpayers thru giveaways to drug and managed care companies than to helping seniors.

Baucus on now...saying how we need to pass this, for the seniors, won't have the chance again... Won't they have the chance when a Dem gets in there and gets it right???? Who is this guy???
