2. it is going to take more than "ripping up the floor" obviously

it is going to take real committment and real cooperation and leadership within the Democratic party. Today's showing, although I do not doubt that Kennedy and others such as Durbin were sincere, the lack of leadership on the part of Daschle was painfully obvious and was painful to watch. Why do we have ten Democrats giving the bill to Bush? Anybody?

Feinstein, the whore, included. What the hell is this? These people are not statemanlike--these people do NOT care if Bush takes us down the road to fascism and warmongering--these people ONLY CARE about their own jobs--they will report faithfully to their offices on Capitol hill-
maybe Feinsteing cannot get a job anywhere else-and take their salary because, well because that is the job they like--pays well and the demand is not too great--as long as they get paid they will say and will do anything in order to keep that job, even if it means complimenting the opposition party. Feinsten is trash. Seniors, one of the most exploited of all in the population have been sold out by the bloviating whores like Feinstein. There is no fight left--
