Isn't it interesting? (re. Nancy Pelosi)...
Edited on Wed Nov-26-03 09:44 PM by Some Moran
She's been such a weak leader, and she's endorsing Gavin Newsom for mayor of San Francisco.

Newsome donated money to Bush in $500.

I question her loyalty to the DNC.

5. about as interesting...
as watching the grass grow in Fresno.

Overall, I think she's done quite well for herself - and for we Democrats. Perhaps you could sway me with specifics?

8. Unbelievable. So who of us are going to run for office??
Seriously. We need to start considering running for offices because these people arent Democrats, they look more and more like, I hate to say it, whores.

Ultimately it seems the system is the problem and is broken and people become seduced and addicted to the power and the perks. Political office should be a TEMPORARY job. This living in D.C. and screwing everyone else outside of it is for the tweet tweetz.

9. How dare that Democratic party leader endorse a Democrat!
I am sickened! How could she stoop so low as to support a member of her own party against a Green?

Unbelieveable....

10. You're missing my point...
He's not a fucking Democrat.

He endorsed $500 to Bush in 2000.

Need I say more?

11. and Wesley Clark voted for Nixon and Reagan
You ready to boot him out of the party yet?

Haranguing Pelosi for supporting the DEMOCRAT in the SF mayor's race is just infantile. Go root for Gonzalez and leave the poor woman to do the heavy lifting in D.C.

By the way, I live in SF and will vote for your boy Matt. Newsom is too close to Willie Brown to win me over...but he ain't no Republican.

15. It's a lot easier to change in 20 years than it is in 3...
Are you suggesting to me that Mr. Newsom no longer supports Bush?

The same Gavin Newsom who refused to condemn the Patriot Act along with the rest of San Fran's supervisors?

The same Gavin Newsom who's District 1 field organiser is an elected Rethug?

Wesley Clark may have his faults, but at least he can smell a rat when it's waved in front of his nose.

13. Why is that so illogical?
There's no other way the right or the centre can win in a city where the Greens routinely finish ahead of the GOP.

San Francisco is so anti-GOP that Barbara Boxer could run with an R next to her name and still get her ass kicked.

I expected more from her. It was a mistake to support Newsom.

16. She did a pretty good job on the Medicare bill.
Would have won if the Repugs hadn't cheated.

While my Representative David Wu abandoned us. I like Wu but

These guys and gals in Congress need to get mobilized!

17. Maybe that was a bit harsh...
But the fact remains that Pelosi and Gore should do a better job researching the candidates they ally themselves with.
