What is wrong with supporting every Democratic candidate...? |
|
...running for President? Even if you have a favorite? Is there one that is less acceptable than George W Bush? Why do we have to attack the other Democrats that may or may not be superior to your choice, but nonetheless, may end up being the nominee? Why can't we say we support all of them - every single one of them against George W Bush? What is wrong with that? Why do we have to be so small and petty to think that our candidate is so superior to all the other Democrats running that we must attack and tear down his primary opponents at every opportunity? How much sense does that really make? In the end, there is only going to be one candidate and it may not be Kerry, Dean, or Clark. It may be someone else. What do we do then? We shouldn't put our foots so far down our throats that we will not be able to retrieve it when the time arrives. But there's only going to be one person as the nominee. Either we support that person or we support Bush. Or we support no one. And "no one" is a vote for George W Bush.

.....I know I will vote for the Dem. .....I will probably volunteer to leaflet and write a letter to the editor and send twenty bucks to the nominee, no matter who it is.
BECAUSE I WOULD VOTE FOR A FUCKING TOASTER OVEN BEFORE I WOULD VOTE FOR BUSH.
