...and here's the scenario the way I think it will play out:
1) Tensions will continue to mount between the U.S. and both Iran and Iraq;
2) The 120,000 U.S. troops that have just been notified that they are going to be sent to Iraq to replace frontline troops, will be sent to that area by the end of the first week of January 2004;
3) The frontline troops that think they are going to sent home wil discover that they will now be participating in the next Middle Eastern campaign against Syria or Iran.
4) The military draft will begin in mid-2005 to bulk up the army for continuing the Never-Ending War.
As an aside, I'm thinking that a new terrorst attack will allow the Bushies to go to the highest terror alert level, declare martial law and suspend the 2004 elections indefinitely.
