1. My mother is having eggs for TG dinner

Seriously, she would never cross a picket line. But Trader Joe's has lots of turkeys, she said. She also said the strikers in her area (Ventura County) stopped picketing temporarily at one Ralph's store so people could buy their groceries. I don't get that at all.

My thoughts are with the strikers and their families today. Going on 6 weeks, I believe.

2. Hey, man,

I am not shopping at any of the stores that have been struck; in fact, I have contacted the local UFCW to be sure of where I can shop.

I have let my former favorites (Ralph's for me) know why as well as spoken with strikers, bringing them sodas and snacks.

What else can I do? Seriously, is there something else I can do?

3. Hey, the DEMs are there!

The democratic party in CA is still pro labor.We are joining their picket lines and last weekend here in Ventura County distributed coupons for Free Turkeys.

The Howard Dean campaign has taken the picketers various gifts such as bottled water, donuts, muffins,tacos, and burgers.(speaking for my group)

DU is more of a legend in the internet than a physical presence on planet earth. I'm an activist and believe me, no one has heard of DU in the crowds. It's still a secret society.
