Craig Crawford, a Congressional Quarterly reporter, said on MSNBC's "Countdown" tonight (Nov 28, 2003) with guest-host Amy R. that it was CNN's turn to videotape Bush, according to press-pool rules.
However, CNN was excluded and Fox News filmed the video.
If this was for the troops, why break the rules to choose Fox News, the network most likely to produce flattering footage?

Are they suspecting that this stunt might backfire, and already positioning certain aides to take the fall (just as they blamed the "Mission Accomplished" banner on the sailors)? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=102&topic_id=244203&mesg_id=244203
