Unfreep this Poll!
Edited on Sat Nov-29-03 01:20 PM by JohnLocke
Poll on whether Bush should have met with ordinary Iraqis on his trip:
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/wolf.blitzer.reports/

Hurry – the Freepers have already caught wind of it. Here's what the morons said: "Either the DUmpster denizens are too depressed to slam the poll, or President Bush really knocked it out of the park with his trip."

knock it outta the park!

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1030133/posts
Currently it's 40% to 60%.

5. CNN reported bush*'s lack of civility...
According to Iraqi culture, you don't visit without telling people you're coming to see them and you also never leave without accepting their hospitality. So much for winning the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people.

6. So the "glorious supporters of the Iraqi liberation" don't want the man
behind the mission to hear the voices of those he's liberated?

Wow, these people show such obvious, deep concern for the welfare of the Iraqi people. :eyes:

8. Done
If this were really about liberattion then Bush would have been proud to greet the cheering Iraqis. By not meeting with the Iraqis he can continue perpetrating the illusion that the Iraqi people love him.

9. Well, they sure shot that one in the foot, huh?
Why else would he have to be spirited himself in and out of the country so furtively? It sure wasn't because the Iraquis ran out of rose petals.

15. I don't really have an opinion either way...
I guess it would have been nice of him to visit with the people he's bombing... I hate Bush, but I don't really care either way. I don't see how this can be a partisan poll.
