For Those Worried About A Candidate's Foreign Policy "Experience".....
why not a trip down memory lane:

<snip>

First off, Andy Hiller, political reporter for WHDH-TV in Boston, Massachusetts, wanted to know whether the potential next president of the US could name the president of Chechnya.

Mr Bush: "No, can you?"

Instead, Mr Hiller fired off his second question. "Can you name the president of Taiwan?"

2. 2000 Was Pre-9/11
We were living in peace and prosperity with not a care in the world.

Here is a reminder:

3. A great moment, but not great enough
Bush still won which I think might be your point. But people were fat and sassy then, and the country was at Peace. Actually I believe a Democrat with extensive foreign policy experience can now use Bush's lack of it against him, since Bush has gotten us into such a mess, even with his on the job training. And for the record I don't think it is essential that a Democratic Party Candidate have extensive Foreign policy experience. Usually, no one thing is essential, but the accumulation of various pluses and minuses is what it is all about.

4. Here's an interesting take on that subject.....

Good informative read about the strategy for 2004 election. It is not for those faint at heart, or for Dean supporters, that's for sure.
