DeLay will eventually get caught
No matter how seriously he believes he "...IS the government" (actual quote). He is involved in so many dirty deals that he cannot hide them all forever, nor is his power and influence limitless. At some point, he will make a mistake, probably an error in judgement regarding exactly how far is too far, and he will be devoured by those whom he has pounded his "hammer" on.

DeLay's Texas PAC investigated
Prosecutors are looking at how corporate money was spent

When U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay attends a fund-raiser in Austin today, the invitations to donate to his re-election campaign will warn, "No Corporate Money."

It's a timely reminder.

Just a few blocks from the event at the Inter-Continental Stephen F. Austin Hotel, a Travis County grand jury is investigating whether Texans for a Republican Majority violated state law by using corporate money to help elect state lawmakers during last year's election.

1. Delay will do a "janklow" at some point and no matter how powerful
he is, he will fall. Just like a certain South Dakotan who thought laws were for everyone but him.

2. It's really hard to pick just one
but out of the current crop of politicos, I think I detest DeLay the most... but it's a really tight race.
