because most nonthinkers will think that by capturing one evil, will get rid of all evil. There is still evil there and the people in the middle east still don't want to live under emperialistic rule. That evil man was already down and I don't believe that he had any power, so what is the gain in stepping on a bug that is already dead?

not by a long shot.
We still have to clean up the mess, and this will not end just because Saddam was captured.
Besides, bin Laden is still out there. Unless they're saving him for next fall.
