New RW Spin: The Clinton View of Iraq-al Qaeda Ties
Remember the harmless "aspirin factory" in the Sudan that evil Bill Clinton blew up in 1998? It was an unsuccessful attempt to distract Americans from Penisgate by pretending he was doing something about Osama Bin Laden...

Or at least, that's the way right wing loonies large and small have been lying about the succesful destruction of the Al Shifa chemical warfare facility in 1998....until today.

Now the attack is "proof" that Bill Clinton and us Democrats knew there was a link between Saddam and Osama....and that we're saying otherwise because of our irrational hatred of Bush. And it was really a chemical warfare facility after all. Who ever even implied anything else?

You know, if you spin until you're dizzy, then bang your head on that pretzel on the floor three or four times, and take a few of the pills Rush's housekeeper offers, it might all begin to make sense.

Or if you just accept Republicans are lying scum that can't even keep their lies straight, it becomes even clearer.

1. Go back and play the tapes
of Republicans saying "wag the dog" all the time. Republicans wouldn't support Clinton on the bin laden issue or the terrorism issue - they were hell bent (including Louis Freeh) on overthrowing the government and came very close to doing it and as Tom Delay said at the time "because we can"

2. Indict Louis Freeh for sedition!
Also: Ted Olson, Jim Baker, Richard Mellon Scaife, Lucianne Goldberg, Linda Tripp, Rupert Murdoch, Ralph Reed, Newt Gringrich...

I'm sure I missed a few, but, you get the idea. The Republicans acted in a seditious manner in the 1990s. The impeachment process was a distraction without merit that causeded this country great harm. On the other hand, Bush is committing felony after felony and there are no repercussions to him. Why?
