Groveling at the feet of the Bush* Idol |
|
- Republicans and their Neocon counterparts don't understand why we won't bend over and kiss George's ring and worship him as a Demigod and glorious leader of the 'free' world.
- What they don't understand about us is that we know a 'false prophet' when we see one. We know that Bush* is a creation of the image-makers in the American media and is little more than a failed businessman and recovering alcoholic who was illegally installed by power brokers in a coup against our government and people.
- Money and power put Bush* in office in a process that had nothing to do with Democracy or the will of the majority. And like water from a poisoned well...everything that flows from this illegitimate government is poisoned as well.
- We may not be able to do anything about the fact that George* is president. It may be true that he will indeed 'serve' two terms in office with the help of the American media and cowardly politicians. But we will continue to refuse to kiss his ring, accept his lies and deceit or respect his shallow, puppet presidency.
- You don't have to accept the lies or participate in the illusions created by the state-controlled media. Ask questions. Demand answers. Be free.

1. CSPAN caller this morning: thank God for Bush* during these perilous times |
|
- This caller provides a great example of the type of 'hero worship' that's disconnected with reality. This is the type of person that sees progress and 'security' with Bush's* macho arrogance and the dropping of bombs.
- The Bushies have convinced too many Americans that war is better than peace and diplomacy is for 'weaklings'. They have convinced too many that it's unpatrotic to ask hard questions and to expect answers.
- Have we become slaves just grateful to receive a few crumbs from the king's table?

2. This is the thing that gets me the most. |
|
All my life the world looked up to America and now no one does.I am not sure we can get it back. Honor is hard to earn once gone.

"Has 'oderint dum metuant' really become our motto?" The State Department's John Brady Kiesling, from his letter of resignation, March 7, 2003.
Let them hate, so long as they fear - one of Caligula's maxims.

3. The Jury is still out on the Slave Question, Q |
|
(and of course, the difficulty of living in a nation with an untrustworthy voting system makes the answer to this question more unfathomable)
Ultimately, are the Imperial Subjects of Amerika OK with returning to Third World Status in the Empire and what that would mean for their (our) day-to-day lives? Are they even aware of the ultimate trend, living as we do in the penultimate phase? Does modern propaganda masquerading as "news" even give the indivdual Imperial Subject half the information necessary to choose?
