What shred of evidence have we been shown that any of these threats was real in any way? Four people supposedly didn't show up for a flight and one of them was supposedly a pilot. So the flight gets canceled and several hundred people are inconvenienced - you think Your Boys Karl and George give a rat's ass?

Well, I for one have had so many lies and hogwash from BushCo* that I ain't believing a frickin' word they say!

"Intercepted emails from Al Qaida." Right. Some poor schmuck in Pakistan writes his nephew that his dog is sick, and they pretend it's code for "Destroy the infidels now!"

This is all crap, just to keep the sheeple amused during the holidays, and keep their minds off the fact that they don't have any money for gifts because the BFEE exported their jobs to India.

I haven't found one person in meatspace who takes this shit seriously any more.

I spend a lot of time talking to airport cargo and maintenance people around here, and they are thoroughly confused. They understand a lot of the problems better than we do, but they see the "solutions" as just getting in the way of their jobs and not accomplishing anything.

While they still have jobs.

The airport police love it, though. Makes them central to everything and they have no fear of layoffs. Just dreams of massive overtime.

Of course, the problem is, no one can stay afraid forever. At this rate, when there is a legitimate warning, no on will listen.

Not sure if thats part of thier plan or not, since an attack then would make people even mor ecomplient to Bush. Not sure just how clever/cold hearted basterdly they really are yet.
