Favourite Conservative Talk Show Host?
My market (San Diego) has no liberal talk show host, so my choices are Rush, Hannity and Savage. Even though I agree with almost nothing he says and find many of his views deeply offensive, I find Savage's show to be the most intellectually honest and entertaining.

Anyone out there have a lesser-of-three evils show they find themselves listening to?

1. Geez
out of those 3 I'd take Rush. Otherwise I say I agree with O'Really sometimes. He occassionally does the Irish-Catholic populist bit which I fall for.

2. I like Savage
Yes, he's an insane fascist, but he can be entertaining at times. Limbaugh is just pathetic these days.

3. San Diego here too!
I live in Encinitas. Grew up in San Diego (Poway).
This is a very CONservative area. The majority think we are in Iraq to protect our freedoms and liberate the Iraqi's. Crazy huh?

I don't know how Savage(Weiner) went from left to so far right. Hummm?

6. Basically, San Diego is
Texas West. Nice talk show choices. From 6-10, local right wing hack. 10-12 Bill O'Leilly. 12-4 is Sean Fattity. 4-7 is Savage.

Whenever I get the chance, I like to call Rick Roberts and harass him for being an intellectual nitwit. It really throws him off when a non-sheep calls in.

9. Rick Roberts
He sure fools a lot of his fans, into believing he is an intellectual, with his clever phrasing and use of "big" words...doesn't he?

I see thru that little game.

4. Merv Griffin...
He was so pleasant, and never got into controversial subjects. That's truly conservative. I don't do confrontational idiots.

8. How about a 'most dangerous to america' conservative host?
That makes it easy for me to answer...Rush.

Even the conservatives that called in to give there opinions regarding my local station thought that Savage was extreme...except for the ones who had trouble with there english (I agree with ever-thang he says).

But they all think that Rush 'really makes them stop and think'. And they only think 'ya know he's right'. Instead of looking it all up for themselves and taking it with a grain of salt.

10. Michael Medved has an excellent grasp of history and can reason
I find his mannerisms are quite civil as well, even when callers go off on him.

That said, he can't review a movie to save his life.

11. "Favorite Conservative Talk Show Host"

FAVORITE? = Webster...one that is treated or
regarded with special favor or
liking. One usually loved, trusted,
or provided with favors by a person
of high rank or authority.

Better question is which one do I hate the most?

"Rush Limpballs"!

13. G. Gordon's a crook, but best of a bad lot
At least he has a sense of humor and will have people on with whom he disagrees. Hannity is a joke and a lightweight; Dr. Laura is a right winger with hypocrisy written all across her life; Savage is a nut (they all are, but he's even nuttier than most); Dornan is a laughable nut; Laura Ingraham is a nasty self-important failure as a host; O'Reilly is an egotistical liar; Medved is a predictable snoozer; Scarborough is boring and obvious; Rush remains, as he always has been, the worst, most audacious and dangerous to all. He has already done incalculable harm to this nation. The rest only wish they could do so.

16. I'm going to say Mitch Albom...although he doesn't come out and
say he's conservative. He's on our conservative (Rush,Dr.Laura,Hannity) station here in Detroit. Sometimes he has pretty liberal views, other times not so much. I don't really care for him, but he's better than the rest of the lot and he used to write really good/funny sports columns...like about the Lion's quarterback problems. They are not so good anymore.

He is much more intelligent and entertaining than Limbaugh or Hannity. Personally, I think Savage should have his meds adjusted.
