The Enormous Co$t of Bu$h will Drain Anerica in the Long Run
A Nation can only afford a limited amount of Mis adventures before dire consequences appear.

Mighty Rome fell due misadventures, poor leadership, and excesses.

WW2 Germany: Same thing.

Khans Empire: Same thing

All three have the same traits.

4 Years ago, we were in good shape....we had a Surplus and today, a $$1/2 Trillion deficiet in one year. and this is only the recorded stuff, that which tracks the in and out of America.

Security and the Administrative costs under Tom Ridge is not cheap in itself but whenever their levels change to Orange.... its about a Billion more per week.

More important is the hidden costs of heightened security measures taken after 9/11 and its effects on our society in general.

When the scores are added up, we Americans are in effect, setting ourselves up for a dramatic Fall in the Value of our dollar. Its only one sign. Our National debt is almost 7 Trillion... huge. Under Bush, this will only go much higher. We borrow from our future children to spend now. Obscene.

Team Al Quaida prolly spent $100 mil and lost 4,000 men.

Americans lost the WTC, The cost of our Homeland Security, the cost of lost production, the cost of finding the perps, the cost of war, etc etc when added up... is staggering...in the hundreds of BILLION$ not to mention our precious sons and daughters lives and those many wounded.

The cost ratio diff is such that the Pubs are reluctent to go there because it will show the misadventure in realtime and in reality.

It is costing Ameica about $100,000,000 to kill each Al Quaida guy.

Are we in an Overkill or what???

and we still are not victorious/successful.

2. It certainly does. I hope more and more people start to see the real costs
involved and the potential damage this is heaping upon America for the long haul.

3. my brother-in-law ...
He is from Ireland and he said exactly what you have posted in his strong brough! "My God! This is like watching the fall of Rome!"

Seems he was right on target and this was about a year ago.

I feel sad for our country. WE THE PEOPLE, do not deserve this. However, some countries, like Iran, realize that WE THE PEOPLE are not all like * thank God!!!

5. freedom
We have no civil rights left. The government can walk right into our homes and look at our computers, no questions asked. The loss of life is horrible but so is the loss of what America has stood for.

9. The numbers shown for Iraq are only direct costs. The real numbers
are much higher. If we follow the money trail.... it leads to not to the Poor nor the Middle Class...except for those who gain from the war machine. It leads to those in control/power and who wish to remain so.

Bush is all about re election for Obvious Reasons.

Come, lemme pour some Sanity and Reality. I got a case from Common Sense R Us, we need more of this wonderful drink.

7. Russia lost the cold war because their economy collapsed
The same will happen to the U.S.A. if this insanity continues. Right now, Osama is winning this war big time. We are dumping billions, and billions into the war. Osama probably only spent a few 10's of millions.

And we are creating more resentment in arab countries, which results in more recruits for the terrorists.

This is just insane...

8. The National Treasure, our resources and wealth, is being spent
at an OVER THE TOP rate. The Gamble of this "Investment" is indeed a very poor one indeed. Wisdom for the Future is not present. This amounts to Poor Planning, Poor Vision.

Perhaps we should implore the Visine guys to "Up the Formula"

11. So curious, the 2004 Llewellyn Almanac says this about bush:
Astrologically speaking, in his chart the North Node, also called the dragon's tail, is in the fifth house of speculation and is known for draining everything it touches. (p. 221)

I got this book for planting guides, but found this information to be quite an eye-opener. Everything bush** has ever been involved in has ended in failure. Miserable failure.

13. The Odds indicate a dire future for A,merica but we still have Blind Sheep
running about the landscape, oblivious to the grass turning brown.

Come, we need more than a drink, we need a shot of Reason straight up w/o the water back.

12. I think Bush should be tried for treason and for
violating his oath of office to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America by lying to the American people in pursuing a war of agression for personal gain. As his sentence, he should be required to reimburse the U. S. Treasury, from his personal fortune, for every expense caused by his administration's excesses and treasonous acts.

Yeah, I know, when pigs fly, but that doesn't change the fact that he should be held accountable and responsible for his evil deeds in the name of the American people.

14. You got that Absolutely Right. Bush is giving America a really bad name.
You just know there many fights in bars across the World due to him and his buddies with what they did.... it still has not abated.

Come, time out < They just found Sanity in a marsh, torn and battered, she is in a Trauma Center Hospital with extensive injuries. Prognosis is bad. Pray for her.
