1. Maybe I'll actually watch it |
|
I don't think I've watched the TS in over a year (especially now after the Arnie crap) but just to watch Jay squirm might provide incentive.

3. Bill Maher coming back to HBO Jan. 16 for weekly gig. |
|
he's got a lot of issues to catch-up on...I'm gonna love seeing what he has to say about r-r-r-rush. The Leno appearance is probably about plugging the new season on HBO.

4. Won't watch Leno, ever since he supported Arnold... |
|
Edited on Fri Jan-02-04 11:42 PM by BackDoorMan
I don't forget and give in, just for some cheap entertainment and to help the assholes ratings...when do you make a stand, after you seen an eight minute segment? I'll check out Maher when he comes back on HBO.

Leno. Never was a fan of his but since the Moron-in chief was elected he's been off the wall. The Clinton jokes never stop with him. Then of course there's Arnold. Give us a report on Bill M if you will.

|
on Larry King for the whole hour.
He is supporting Clark & Kerry.
Said he always supports the guy who has served in the military.
In 2000 he supported McCain.

Maher supported Nader in 2000. Did Nader serve in the Military?

7. He called the Dean campaign |
|
a cross between a progressive political movement and a dating service. He finds the "Dean Movement" (and the Internet, which he called "TV with a keyboard) to be rather superficial.
Also said making your entire message "Bush Sucks" is a mistake for the Democrats.

9. Called Bush a "shady character" |
|
Said he's a salesman who sells you a car and the wheels fall off after you get it off the lot. Leno did a great job of cutting him off in the middle of a riff on religious fanaticism. I think Bill was going to chew his ass as they headed into commercial!

10. Everytime Maher said something against the Repubs, Leno giggled. |
|
I thought it was rather silly. Giggling like it was all a joke, not real, don't take it seriously, folks..... I hate Leno.

12. I, I, I, ... it was MAAAHvelous! |
|
Maher was so on target. I don't get cable, so I had forgotten how insightful and funny he is.
If only people didn't have to watch what they say in today's Amerika.
