Cooky situation I thought of, a green wins the white house in 2004...
The senate is split 50 dems/50 republicans and the GOP has somewhere around a 10 seat majority in the house, there are no Green party members of congress. How do you think this situation would play out. I think that the VP would vote for the dems to be the majority in the senate in exchange for working with the green president on his agenda. Unfortunately there might be a DINO or two in there who would switch parties. To make matters worse several moderates might start voting with the GOP to override presidential VETOs so that the president would have no control over legislation. It might turn out completely different though, just interested to think about.
