to win in 2004. The Dems won a majority in 6 of these 9 states in the last 3 elections: FL, MO, NH, OH, TN, WV. Check the three year totals below.

We must WATCH DIEBOLD CLOSELY in these and other competitive states.

The Dems received MORE THAN 13.7 million more votes then the Repukes in the last 3 elections. And that's being conservative, because it's based on the "official" total, shown below. You know they did much better than that, but, hey, the Repukes cheat. That's a given.

Will we let them cheat again in 2004? That is the only question that needs to be answered. Not IF we can win; but IF the Repukes can STEAL it.

Bush, this Very Unpopular War pResident, is

1. I think..
we need to target The Gore States, Ohio, West Virginia, Arizona, and Nevada. And we need to fake an effort in the South in order to steer Bush's campaign into devoting time and resources there, all while steering the bulk of our own money into these ten states:
OR/IA/MN/PA/MI/NM/ and WV/OH/NV/AZ

George Soros and Americans Coming Together will be targeting those states (plus 7 more) with a huge GOTV campaign, and other groups are sure to be helping us with the slack in TV advertising until 1 month before the election.. we can put-up a really good fight. Who knows? We might even win in the Electoral College?

4. Yes. We need to get the "traditional Democrat" vote out.
PA, WV, MN, MI,.... places where the steel industry, coal mining and manufacturing are done. (USW, UMW, autoworkers). NV and AZ have been looking better than I thought. I am not feeling negative about a lot of this "Bush can't be beat" crap. Dean, Clark and Kucinich can really carry our message. Please lets not beat up on one another.

2. I call AZ (my state) a swing state. As the population gets
younger, it is becoming more Democratic--we went Clinton in '92 and '96.

A good push by the Dems could tip the scale Leftward.

Need to maintain the states we won in 2000 and at a minimum win another state with double digit votes or 2 states with single digit votes.

Florida should be the slam dunk for us. An effective election campaign including making sure that voter information on how to vote and challenging any problems before the election so that they are corrected and publicizing these problems so the voters are aware of the importance of making sure their vote counts.
