Want to Know a Secret?....NYT's Kean interview about 9/11 investigation |
|
Edited on Sun Jan-04-04 06:10 PM by Skinner
NYT Magazine Sunday 1/4/04
The chairman of the commission investigating 9/11 talks about the difficulties of reviewing intelligence files,....
Q: You seem to believe that 9/11 did not have to happen? A: Yes, there is a good chance that 9/11 could have been prevented by any number of people along the way. Everybody pretty well agrees our intelligence agencies were not set up to deal withdomestic terrorism. Everybody had been set up to fight the cold war ( more RW propaganda) They were not ready for an internal attack. ( a fucking LIE! what was Hart/Rudman/John O'Neal?)
Q: Did anyone in the Bush Administration have any idea an attack was being planned? A: That is why we are looking at the internal papers. I can't talk about what's classified. President's daily breifings are classified. If i told you what was in them, I would go to jail. ( we all know what was in them BUSH KNEW!)
Q: Are you a friend of the President's? A: I've met Bush, but I know his father better than I know him. ( and I wanna live, so...) Actually, I've discussed 9/11 more with President Clinton. We are friends (rove told me to say this) We were governors at the same time.
Q: As a Republican governor of New Jersey, can you genuinely be fond of a democrat from the South? A; Governors don't have to be political, ( say what???)because we are not competing against one another ( and fucking pigs fly) When I was chairman of the education commission, Clinton was vice chairman. We became good friends. ( Rove told me to make sure and say this too)

Pretty much covers it.
Hey, they didn't ask him about being friends with bin Mahfouz, did they?
Just kidding--I know which world we're living in.

3. Money is the highest classification. |
|
The more you have, the higher you're classified.
That explains why BushInc. kisses the bin Ladens' oily backsides 24/7.
It also explains Lee Hamilton's forgiving nature regarding the October Surprise, way back when.
Lots of class, these traitors of the BFEE.

come of this investigation. I don't know how we will ever be able to crack the secrecy of this dictatorship. Maybe when the Dems win the WH in this year some in depth coverage will get to the bottom of it. By the way I love your parentheticals. They are priceless.

Rumsfeld, Carlucci (Carlyle), Dulles (Bush Hitler contact), Nader and NOW Kean!
The secret dinner clubs at Princeton are part of the Skull CIA network. That is why I don't trust Nader who was schoolmates with Rummie and Carlucci.
Figures. Another Spook.

9. I knew this bullshit would happen |
|
"What? Oh, yeah. Of course Bush knew that 9/11 was going to happen and still decided to let it happen anyway. But in retrospect, it was a good decision. See, Saddam Hussein is gone now! "And besides, who cares that he knowingly let 3,000 innocent American citizens, potentially tens of thousands, die needlessly. The point is that the intelligence agencies are to blame, because they weren't set up to deal with terrorism. This, of course, is Clinton's fault, because he was too busy lying to make sure something that happened after he was out of office could be prevented. So what if Bush ordered the CIA to back off Al Qaeda? "Here is all you need to know: Bush was powerless to stop 9/11 (through willful negligence and complicity) and everything bad that has happened since 1992 is Clinton's fault."

the DU Editorials forum with a link. No "secret" there.
It's a short article, but gives good info about how difficult the admin. is making it to get info...which slows or disrupts this and other investigations.
