Know anything about a US cargo plane struck by missile in Iraq
Just caught a glimpse of the banner on MSNBC about a cargo plane that had a safe landing after being struck by a missile. All networks reporting on Powell conference and missing children in Gerogia. Iraq is off the front page...and sinking.

1. didn't see that one but..
wonder if anyone heard about the missing man and a 727(?). It happened in May--in Africa, Angola. Was surfing the tube and saw it on Faux news. They were interviewing the man's brother and sister who were upset that no one in the FBI or anywhere else was answering their questions about what happened to their brother AND the plane! They weren't even told yea or nay about the downed airplane off of beline (<sp) It was VERY curious. If this has been posted before, I am sorry.

Missing planes, missing ships, hmmmmm

2. I heard it reported .....
that it had been hit on take-off but had turned around and made it back safely to the Baghdad Airport. Whether it was loaded with our troops has not been clear??

3. Earlier today, a US Air Force C-5 transport plane
returned to Bagdad International Airport after experiencing "excessive engine vibration," said Air Force spokeswoman Captain Carrie Clear.

Officials refused to say if the plane had been hit by ground fire, but Kimmit said there were "reports of personnel in the area when this happened."
