After all, Grandpa Prescott should have been prosecuted, but FDR decided it wouldn't be in the interest of the country during wartime to put all the fat cats on trial--he got away with having the bank's assets seized, and still got some of that back after the WWII.

And, the attention span of the people of Connecticut was short enough that they elected Prescott to the US Senate in 1952.

These people certainly have lived charmed lives.... I hope you're right, but I'll settle for them being out of politics forever.
