2. Someday I hope to get the complete series
of both Angel and Buffy. But for now I have to content myself with Johnny Depp.

I'm so sick Angel is going off the air. It sucks humongous lemons. :argh: The show is so outstanding on so many levels.

3. Saw it.
I can't believe Connor is coming back next week. I wonder what that's all about...? I just hope the series doesn't end after this season. I've been a loyal fan to Angel/Buffy since day one. Hopefully they'll find another station to air Angel on. :(

4. Another network
I hope another network will pick them up. They've been the best this year so far. I'd hate for the story to end where it is.

I'm a huge fan of gothic literature and was so relieved when Joss Whedon revived the genre. Apparently the WB is doing away with Angel to make way for the new, improved "Dark Shadows." I don't know, I liked it then, but it might seem corny to me now in light of Joss Whedon's extraordinary work.

What do you think? Do you remember Dark Shadows?

7. Mid 60s to early 70s - your local video store
will probably have the tapes. Goto the indie video store, not Blockbuster.

I remember watching it in the afternoons. It's a soap opera, except with vampires. It was creepy, and ghoulish, and wonderful.... but oddly not scary. It was comforting in an odd way. I had a huge crush on the hero, Barnabas Collins.

11. They already did a version
In the early 80s, I believe. I know Michael T. Weiss was on it, but I don't remember ever watching it. It sucks--Angel is SO much better than the sh*t they're doing now. For crying out loud, reviving Battlestar Galactica wasn't bad enough, now they're going to do a third version of DS? Why don't they get Gerry and Sylvia Anderson to do UFO all over? At least it was fun.

9. Sorry, guys
I'm really bummed myself, but unless Joss and partners have "movie" plans, we're going to see it end in about a month and a half.

It sucks, and they're disappointing an awful lot of fans, though, especially now, with Buffy gone as well. When UPN took Buffy, WB made their big "speech" about Angel, and now, just a season later, they're killing what is likely one of their best shows.

It would be nice if SF picked it up, but they're already going cheap by buying Andromeda (which, if I say so myself, jumped the shark about three years ago), so I don't know what the chances would be for them to take the reins.

If you think about it, what the hell else is on WB nowadays, anyhow? The only show they've still got which I like is Charmed, but other than that, their current claims to fame are Smallville, Everwood and The Gilmore Girls. Yikes.

I don't think we will see the end of the actors on Angel for awhile, though--they're all good, and have enough flexibility to carry a lot more on their shoulders.

10. Talented Cast
I like all the characters, they are very multi-dimensional. That's part of what is so attractive about "Angel." No one is a cartoon.

I certainly hope they all get work that I can see again. They are wonderful actors, every single one of them.
