DU Insomniacs, report!
Edited on Thu Apr-15-04 12:47 AM by chair094
What are you up to? The Chair will probably stay up another 3 hours.

Yesterday's insomniac thread
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x1008614

Edit: I live in the Central time zone (is it daylight savings or standard time? All I know is spring forward, fall back...) Just so you on the West Coast don't think I'm a wuss...I'm a couple of hours ahead of you.

26. Just finished watching "The Man Who Knew"
Went to the PBS site ... you can watch it on line. Really fascinating shit. No wonder the 9/11 widows are pissed. O'Neil had al Qaeda's number ... there is a very real chance he could have prevented 9/11 had he not been sabotaged by the bureaucracy. Ironically and tragically he died when the South Tower fell.

I know his story is pretty common knowledge around here, but this was the first chance I've had to actually see the Frontline expose'.

How ya doin?

It's actually not that hot currently, it's going to be in the mid-80's to the upper 80's for the rest of this week. It's going to be partly clouded which explains the drop in temperature. Yeah it does get hot, up to the 120's in the summertime.

Give you major points for that. You should realllllly go snowboarding, especially if you get the chance to go to CO. I can't even imagine how awesome the view is there. I'm soooo jealous! You have to try it at least ONCE! And isn't it a little cold for the fish to be biting?

There is also a great snowboarding spot here in Arizona at the 'Snow Bowl' at the San Francisco Mountains just north of Flagstaff. And isn't it a little cold for the fish to be biting? Never fished in Colorado during the winter(but I would imagine they would, but you would probaly have to cut a hole on the frozen surface), mostly during the summer and fall and they do bite.

70. It depends what area
Most of Colorado is mountaineous and hilly, but on the eastern side of it next to Nebraska and Oklahoma is nothing but plains and farm land. The city I always visit when I go to Colorado Loveland, Colorado(where my dad lives) which is just south of Fort Collins. The average temperature of the summer and fall is somewhere around 70-79 degrees. But sometimes it gets up to the 90's.
