Moderation is the the key.

2 drinks per day is harmeless.

I haven't been drunk however, since I was a teenager. Though, gleefully tipsy happened about a year ago.

My doctor thinks my drinking is at a beneficial level, my bosses are happy with my work and I've never had a lover suggest I should cut down on my consumption. I'm thinking I'm doing okay.

I don't drink every day, but I often have a beer or two, or glass of wine.

I'd say I average 2-3 times a week, although sometimes a week or more goes by that I don't drink.

11. honestly i've never understood alcohol

my parents MADE me drink when i was 13 at a passover seder. got a WICKED migraine the next day. haven't had a drop since, and i'm now 40 years old. even alcohol in food gives me migraines, even if "cooked off".

i've seen people do unforgivable things, stupid things, get themselves killed, get others killed, ruin their lives, cause breakups, lose their jobs, fail out of school, etc., all due to alcohol.

i've NEVER understood the appeal. i guess that's why my social life kinda sucks, outside of mrs. unblock.


then again, i've been told, "i'd never drink either if MY first taste of booze was maneschevitz!"

I seen it first hand what alcohol can do when used to much. Though I'm glad my Dad has been sober for what 7 years? I'm not really sure. He was killing himself slowly, divorced twice, ruined his life but now it's back together, lost his job, I think he graduated high school and has been to some college.

Seriously, a good *dry* wine with little sugar content (i.e. not sweet) works much better on the body. And I don't feel awful the next day.

Once in a rare while I'll have more, but for me, moderation is usually better.

Sometimes more for a celebration, sometimes less if I don't have beer in the house. For a while I was trying to figure out why I wasn't losing weight even though I was eating very sensibly. Then I remembered, beer has lots of calories.

I occasionally substitute bourbon on the rocks or wine for beer, but beer is my fave, especially if I made it myself. Three more weeks till the next batch is ready....

The last time I had a drink on a weekday was about eight birthdays ago. However, the last time I went dry over a weekend was probably three years ago, and I was in the hospital recovering from food poisoning. Work hard, play hard...

Usually once a month at a party with friends. We always have fun. I'm lucky enough to have several happy drunks for friends as well as being one myself.
