Poll question: Favorite JLA member...
Of the classic seven member lineup which one is your favorite?

Superman - Clark Kent
Batman - Bruce Wayne
Wonder Woman - Diana Princess of Themyscira
Flash - Barry Allen
Green Lantern - Hal Jordan
Martian Manhunter - J'onn J'onnz
Aquaman - Arthur Curry

1. Green Lantern
Although I could split that vote with Batman and the Flash strictly in the confines of the original JLA (I have nothing before #32 from that era). I found Lantern more interesting later when paired up with my favorite JLAer of all time, the Green Arrow. Arrow was the leftist conscience to what had become a reactionary Hal Jordan. Denny O'Neill is a genius. His Batman and GR/GA titles are some of the best of the 70's.

Good poll.

5. haha!
What??? You don't like THE KID FLASH??? ;-)

The worst idea EVER was in the early 70's World's Finest lineup - Superman Jr. and Batman Jr.!!! :wtf: It was supposed to be a generation gap allegory, but it was DOA. Embarrassing for the legacies of both heroes in comics history.

What was great about those same issues of World's Finest were the Metamorpho and Martian Manhunter stories, as well as the Sandman, a decade or so before his brilliant 80's resurrection.

Anyone remember Eclipso?

7. can't speak for that poster
But I was talking about the 70's Wally only. I am admittedly unfamiliar with the adult Wally. Since the 80's was the great revisionist decade, I can believe he improved tremendously.

11. I think they're on par.
Some Flash storylines in the past decade kicked serious ass.

Speaking of storylines, I went to rexraygun.com curious about the universe, the characters etc. and found nothing, nada, zilch. How is it going?

(I'm still stinging you got somebody else's name for the ship, by the way. No, just kidding. :hi:)

13. Rex Raygun...
Well, we have tentatively decided that the ship will be called the Peregrin. Let's see if I have a short synopsis of the show...

If I can find one, I'll do a post about it...

16. That was kinda the reason why that was the winner...
It helps the design along a bit.

12. I voted Flash, but I like Captain Atom a lot.

Read his first couple dozen issues, circa 1986. He has a very intense, tragic story. The pseudoscience could be a bit more convincing, though.
