I am gradually expanding my jazz CD collection and wanted to delve into Sonny Rollins. What is the definitive recording or compilation disc to get?
I trust your judgment DUers!

2. A neat introduction is a record with Dizzy and Sonny Stitt |

called Sonny Side Up. Includes a fun version of Sunny Side of the Street with Diz on vocals as well as a stunning 12 minute blues shout called After Hours dominated by Ray Bryant on piano. I don't seem to have any other Rollins except stuff I taped from the library. You might want to check your local public library if you're in a municipality of any size. They generally will have a good jazz collection.
