Do you spend more time in the Lounge or the political boards?

I certainly have my fun in the Lounge - I talk about music and show off my crush list (in fact I just showed off my new one yesterday - I'll show it off until I'm finally committed to someone) - and now I spend time here as moderator. But I like to find time for the political forums. I post in those more than I used to, but I'd say I still spend more time in the Lounge.

2. I spend most of my time in the environmental board, which is very good.

I must confess I visit the Lounge often though. It's a very fun place.

3. Most of the time in GD or LBN

but I do pop into the lounge every now and then.

There are some interesting DUers who hang out here and although I don't really fit in, I enjoy making an occassional smart-ass comment.

7. I think LBN is the second most visited forum for me

I get much of my news from DU.

4. I Start Out with "Latest"

so I don't always even know what board things are on.

I may post an article, often something obscure on science, economics, or foreign affairs.


Then I keep checking "My Posts" to see who's replied to me. It's a great feature, and the only way I ever get into extended discussions.

6. Hard to say

I post more often in the lounge because I'm new here and prefer to see what the atmosphere is like in the political boards, which do get heated (I'm with the left on just about every issue except for guns), before I dive in over there.

I do spend more time reading the political boards than the lounge posts, though, because the political issues affect us all, whereas some topics in the lounge don't concern me (American Idol, for one), and I refuse to stick my nose into a "what's your favorite...(rap song, for instance)" post with a "none, I hate all of it."

If I'm in a political mood, I'll stroll over to GD.
