Gay or freeper?
The original Brawny paper towel man: gay, freeper, or both (closeted freeper)? :shrug:

Evidence for "gay":
* looks like he belongs in a Tom of Finland comic strip
* overly concerned with cleanliness

Evidence for "freeper":
* unfashionable plaid shirts
* possibly a survivalist
* brags endlessly about his "toughness"

The history of the "Brawny man":

3. I still LOVE the Simpsons episode where Marge falls for "Brawny"
And Bart & Homer pretend he's coming to dinner...mean, but funny!

4. Pretty gay actually.
Never thought about it... but the old one was pretty gay looking. I couldn't believe there was a commercial comparing the old and new Brawny men. It's one of the more... interesting... aspects of our society.

6. Gay
It's the 70s, Village People-looking moustache that convinced me.

<turns stereotyping off>

7. As a woman, I've never found him attractive
I mean, I'm not into those cheesy mustached, goodhair guys. If he asked me out on a date I'd go for the free food, but he would never get anything more than a peck on the cheek kiss from me.

8. I don't think you'd have to worry about him asking you out
The consensus seems to be that he's looking for a pecker in the cheeks, not a peck on the cheek. :)
